Stage Managers for Upcoming Seasons
Stage Managers are responsible for helping and assisting all production staff and is an essential link for the cast and crew. The stage manager is one member of the staff that is involved with the entire produces from beginning to end. The role of the stage manager is equally important to the director in rehearsals and the technical director during the run of the shows and tech week.
Applicants should be at least 14 years old and a high school freshman by the audition week of the production for which they have been selected. Minimum technical requirements include four shows on crew, one show in the booth up in Cat Walk, one show as an Assistant Stage Manager, and one show training.
Applicants should express interest and submit an application during the season before the student expects consideration, i.e., a student wishing to Stage Manage during the 2012-2013 season should express interest during the 2011-2012 season. It is advised that the student should discuss stage management with the Artistic Director, Technical Director, Executive Producer, or Producer before submitting an application.

Encore Stage & Studio is Looking for Artist/Teachers for Saturday and After School Programs
We are ready to fill 6 teaching positions for educational theatre for children in grades K through 5 for fall, winter, and spring sessions in 2010-2011.
We also have two Middle school classes available in improvisation and one in directing. All classes run for 6 weeks on Saturdays or after school in Arlington, VA. Teachers should have a degree in theatre and experience in teaching young students ages 6 through 11.
