Job Opportunities at Encore Stage and Studio
Job Title: Artist in Training
Hours: July 12-30, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Daily
AIT's Needed Immediately for Stage Door Summer Cam, July 12-30 at Williamsburg Middle School, 3600 N. Harrison Street, Arlington, VA 22207 What is an AIT? It is an Artist in Training Internship.
Do you love theatre and like being around people? Are you reliable and enjoy helping teachers? You would be an "extra pair of hands" for our theatre teachers by assisting our students in learning their lines, helping them learn their dances doing the odd jobs for our teachers as they teach.
There is also the technical side of theatre such as working backstage with sets, props and lighting. Rewards for all this are that you can take the classes for free and it is so much fun being around theatre folks and learning about acting, singing, and dancing from the best the Washington Metro area has to offer. All our teachers are professional actors in the Washington DC Area. Why not learn from the best?
This is a volunteer (unpaid) position. If interested: contact Encore Stage & Studio at 703-548-1154 ext 3. or vsit us on the Web at www.encorestage.org
