The Act III Theatre Company was founded in 1985 to provide a fun and challenging summer theatre experience for high school students, college students, and community members. Act III combines a performance opportunity and an educational experience, presenting musical productions that are ideal for children and adults of all ages.

The next production of the Act III Company will be the classic The Pirates of Penzance, July 2012. Handsome young Frederic has just finished an apprenticeship with a band of silly pirates. When he falls in love with the beautiful Mabel Stanley, however, he discovers that he must stay with the pirates until his 21st birthday--but he was born on Leap Day! This classic musical by Gilbert and Sullivan, the first ever produced by Encore, features plenty of swashbuckling and is sure to delight the whole family!
