Theatre Voyagers!

Theatre voyagers, prepare to set sail for adventure! Our young campers will gain confidence as they journey into this introduction to theatre. Teaching Artists will channel the energy and imagination of these young sailors through creative dramatics, theatre games, and story drama. Students will also explore their creativity through vocalization and singing, movement, and theatre crafts. Students ages 6 and up will experiment with scripted drama. Each session features a final performance. Our sailors will have fun taking this amazing journey!

Our staff of professional theatre educators will teach the basics of characterization and scene playing in 30-60 minute classes for an exciting 4-hour day. A theme for each session provides consistency in material chosen for dramatic exploration.

This program is for children ages 4-9 years old. Children are divided into age groups. We do not recommend this program for 4-year olds who have not yet attended preschool. All children MUST be toilet trained to participate.

It's Elementary will be held in three sessions: June 25 - July 6, 2012 (No Class on July 4);
July 9 - 20, 2012; and July 23 - August 3, 2012. The morning sessions are 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Afternoon sessions are 1:15 - 5:15 p.m. The tuition for Session I is $280 per Group. The tuition for Sessions II and III is $310 per Group. A supervised lunch is available at $35 person from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Children must bring their own lunch.
