Encore Stage & Studio | Children’s Theater

This is the year. Not only is Encore celebrating sixty years of theatre arts education and production in Arlington, we are opening a new home with our own dedicated rehearsal and education spaces.

Designed specifically to serve children and youth, this will be a place students can thrive and find belonging. Our unrivaled dedication to youth development and artistic excellence will continue to expand and shine through all we do in this special space. We will deliver on our mission with even greater depth and reach–with your help.

You can make our dreams of a home come true–Encore @ Ballston

For sixty years, Encore has been a vibrant and vital part of our region’s arts and cultural landscape. Even without rehearsal, classroom and gathering spaces of our own, thousands of children and youth have experienced a sense of belonging and growth with us.

Now, your gift for the Milestones Campaign will make theatre dreams come true for more children, youth and families as we move to our new home. Outreach to underserved students will increase. Friendships will be made. Theatre magic will bloom.

Gifts to the Milestones Campaign for the custom buildout and remodel of Encore @Ballson means we can serve more children, youth and families and deepen our artistic impact in the community. Highlights of the facility:

Welcoming reception area with our brand-new box office and class registration open to the public during the week
“Little Theatre” performance space where students can share their work with parents or small audiences
Professional-level dance classroom
Rehearsal space for our mainstage and touring productions
Outdoor patio where students and families will build community around class and rehearsal time
Executive and administrative offices
And more!

Encore has been building toward this moment for sixty years. We need your support to make the dreams of Encore’s community come true!
